Play 300 Wend Unlimited word path puzzles

Unlimited is the no-calendar practice mode in Wend Unlimited. Choose Easy 5×5, Medium 6×6 or Hard 7×7, then work through 100 original puzzles in that difficulty. The full practice library contains 300 boards, and every puzzle stays separate from today’s Daily Edition and streak.

There is no daily expiry, account gate or attempt limit. You can use Hint, Undo and Reset, refresh the page, change difficulty and return later. The selected difficulty and current run are remembered in this browser.

Choose an Unlimited difficulty

Easy: 100 compact 5×5 boards

Easy boards have less open space and shorter routes, making them the clearest place to learn answer lengths, orthogonal movement and exact coverage. They are compact, not automatic: a plausible word can still create an impossible leftover region.

Medium: 100 balanced 6×6 boards

Medium boards add more route choices and more competition around turning cells. Use the clue and lengths together, then protect narrow corridors before a flexible short answer consumes them.

Hard: 100 larger 7×7 boards

Hard boards require more whole-grid planning. The longest answers usually have fewer viable shapes, while a premature short route can split the remaining cells into incompatible regions.

How Unlimited practice works

  1. Select Easy, Medium or Hard above the board.
  2. Read the theme clue and answer lengths before drawing.
  3. Trace through horizontal or vertical neighbors and release to submit.
  4. Use Undo to remove the latest action, Hint for controlled help and Reset for a clean board.
  5. Finish the board to advance within that difficulty’s 100-puzzle loop.

The published practice package is checked after serialization to confirm that each authored answer follows adjacent cells, avoids walls and overlaps, and covers every open cell. That technical check protects the game rules; the themes, clues and vocabulary remain editorial content rather than unrestricted dictionary generation.

Unlimited practice vs. the Daily game

The Wend Unlimited Daily Edition is a dated run of three levels—Easy, Medium and Hard—and the streak advances only after all three are complete. Wend Unlimited draws from a separate 300-puzzle bank. Practice completions, hints, redraws and resets do not complete a Daily level, repair a missed date or change a Daily share result.

LinkedIn’s official Wend is a separate product with one new puzzle released daily. Wend Unlimited’s practice mode does not reproduce LinkedIn’s boards or leaderboard features. It exists for players who want more practice with the same core ideas: adjacent-letter paths, no overlap and complete letter coverage.

A repeatable practice routine

Before tracing, add the answer lengths and confirm that they match the number of open cells. Mark the cells with only one or two available exits. Test the longest word or the tightest endpoint, then inspect the residue: every unused region must still be large enough and connected enough for the remaining lengths.

If a route fails, explain the failure before erasing it. A stranded cell, blocked bridge or mismatched region size gives you more information than the word alone. The Wend game strategy lessons turn those observations into a five-step learning path.
