Wend is a word-finding format built from adjacent-letter paths and complete board coverage. The official LinkedIn rules and this independent Wend Unlimited game share that core logic, while their puzzle schedules and progress features are separate.

What is Wend Unlimited?
Wend Unlimited is a themed word-path puzzle. Trace each authored answer through horizontally or vertically adjacent letters so the accepted paths cover every open cell exactly once.
Is Wend Unlimited the official LinkedIn Wend game?
No. LinkedIn Wend is published by LinkedIn. Wend Unlimited is an independent game with original boards, a three-level Daily Edition, Unlimited practice and a replayable Archive. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
Can a path move diagonally?
No. Every step must move one cell up, down, left or right. A diagonal jump never belongs to an accepted route.
Can a Wend path turn a corner?
Yes. A path may turn as many times as its authored route requires. The restriction applies to each step—horizontal or vertical adjacency—not to the overall path being straight.
Can I trace a word backwards?
Yes. The accepted authored route works in either direction, so you may begin at the first or last letter.
Does every letter belong to a word?
Every open letter belongs to exactly one accepted answer. Blocked wall cells belong to no answer, and solved words never overlap.
Why did a real word fail?
The game checks the exact authored path, not a general dictionary. A trace can spell a real word and still use the wrong cells or conflict with the board’s full cover.
What happens to an incorrect path?
The path remains visible so you can inspect it. Redraw from another cell, press Undo to clear it, or press Hint once to erase it before requesting a revealed letter.
Daily, Unlimited and Archive
How many puzzles are in one Daily Edition?
Each Wend Unlimited Daily Edition contains three original puzzles in order: Easy 5×5, Medium 6×6 and Hard 7×7. The day is complete only after all three are solved.
When does the Daily streak advance?
Only after you finish all three levels in the current Daily Edition. Completing level one or two alone does not bank the day.
Does an Archive replay change my streak?
No. Archive progress and results are stored separately from the current Daily run, so replaying an old date cannot change today’s result or streak.
What is Wend Unlimited?
Wend Unlimited is a separate 300-puzzle practice mode with 100 Easy, 100 Medium and 100 Hard boards. It has no calendar requirement and never changes the Daily streak.
Can I replay an official LinkedIn Wend puzzle here?
No. Wend Unlimited does not copy or archive LinkedIn’s boards. Its Archive contains only original Wend Unlimited Daily Editions.
Saved progress and sharing
Where is my progress saved?
Progress, timers, hint counts, redraw counts and streak data are stored in localStorage in this browser. There is no account or cloud sync in the current release.
Will my progress follow me to another device?
No. Browser-local storage stays on the current browser profile. Without an account or cloud sync, another device begins with its own separate progress.
What is included when I share a result?
The result text summarizes the completed Wend Unlimited run without revealing answer words. A social or messaging service receives the result only after you choose its link or device share option.
How do I remove saved Wend Unlimited data?
Open the Privacy page and use the clear-data button. It removes Wend Unlimited localStorage keys from this browser without affecting ordinary hosting logs.
